I scrapped the old one as I went about coloring and lining this. Alpha's bugging with the image, too. You'll need to download to see it properly.
Due to some awesome-ass inspiration from some people in #cbug, I decided I should incorporate the Northwood stuff with my shmup. This led to the inception of an idea of how to do a focus mode, with a greater deal of customizability. Before beginning a game, the player chooses two COs; One to manage normal mode and the other to manage focus mode. Each CO affects normal mode and focus mode in their own ways. Each CO also has their own set of bombs for normal and focus mode. Here, I was planning out Mistra's. When Mistra manages normal mode, she's her normal, timid self. When managing focus mode, she's her other violent, hypersexual, succubus self. The bomb for her focus mode was what I called "Outlands Portal". "Outlands Portal: Four random demons are summoned armed with different weapons and fight alongside you. They last until they are destroyed." - From mah design document.
